The square hollow section of grade S355j2+n is non-alloyed and light in weight. Pure, premium stainless steel is the only material used in its construction. It results in the hollow portion having a variety of finishes, including corrosion oil, black paint, an adhesive coating that acts as fire protection, and more. Furthermore, it is available in various lengths, including cut length and random range from 3 to 18 meters. Common industrial uses for these hollow parts include shipbuilding, steel construction, equipment construction, electricity, piping systems, and more. The outer diameter of square hollow section pipes is 400 x 400 mm. 

BS EN 10219 is the required specification for rectangular hollow sections manufactured of grade S355J2+n. These hollow parts have walls that range in thickness from 0.5mm to 25mm. This type of hollow section has several potent characteristics, including fire resistance, strong tensile properties, fluid dynamic properties, torsion, compression, and more. Because of this, they are particularly resistant to corrosion, even in harsh weather. Additionally, consumers may utilize it in hot and cold temperatures, even in aquatic habitats. These materials' yield strengths range from 315 to 355 N/mm2, and their tensile strengths range from 490 to 630 N/mm2. The outer diameter of rectangular hollow section pipes is 500 x 300 mm.  

The circular hollow sections are manufactured following the EN10210 hot-finished structural hollow section standard, which has different dimensions and tolerances. Following BS5950, BS 5400, and other comparable international steel design requirements, this hot-finished S355J2+n material is appropriate for all internal and external applications. This hollow section pipe is created using the procedure of high-frequency induction welding. The varying shapes of the pipe mostly determine its outside diameter. This grade of the hollow section contains elements including phosphorus, sulfur, manganese, silicon, carbon, and manganese. The outer diameter of circular hollow section pipes can be as large as 508 mm.
