The unalloyed type of low-carbon mild steel is used to create the square hollow sections rated as Steel EN 10219 S275JOH. Usually, the hot rolling process is used to create these hollow parts. In addition to having high machinability characteristics, the materials frequently have low tensile strength characteristics. These specific carbon steel S275JOH pipes have a property that is considered appropriate for processes like welding: good machinability and a reduced percentage of carbon. Customers that utilize these materials for various general and structural purposes say that these hollow sections also have a very low carbon content, making them the ideal alloy once more.
The wall thickness of rectangular hollow sections made of grade EN 10219 S275JOH is 1.8 to 14.27mm. The rectangular size ranges also vary from 40×20 to 400×200 mm. EN 10219 shows these rectangular hollow section pipes are made of non-alloy steel. The letter J0 stands for quality with the specified impact attribute at 0 degrees Celsius. These materials have a minimum yield strength thickness of no more than 16mm at 275 MPA and 27J at 0 Deg C impact energy value. Surface coatings include black paint, anti-rust oil, and disappearing paint. The materials' diameters range from 1" to 26".
